This is one of the best books I have ever read in my life, Reviewed in the United States on July 22, 2014. Vianne, Anouk and Rosette have moved from Lansquenet to Montmartre to live a quiet life where magic and chocolate-making have largely disappeared - that’s until the arrival of the vivacious and beautiful Zozie who sets about turning their lives upside down. I loved Chocolat and Four Quarters of the Orange, and I'm not sure what I expected from the sequel, but it wasn't this... the pace is slow, and none of the main characters are portrayed in a sympathetic way. It’s the second book in the ‘Chocolat’ trilogy and I would highly recommend it to anyone who loves a bit of magic, even at the second reading I found it hard to put down.
